TULSA MACHINIST LL-790 News  UAL Contracts5/12/2002Five IAM Contracts Ratified at UAL May 11, 2002 – The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) today announced union members at United Airlines voted to ratify four agreements covering nearly 25,000 employees at the airline. A fifth IAM agreement, covering 500 employees at Mileage Plus Inc. (MPI), a wholly owned UAL subsidiary, was also ratified. The contracts were approved in a day-long vote by Ramp & Stores, Food Service, Security Guards and the airline’s Public Contact Employees (PCE). The PCE group includes Customer Service, Reservations agents and airport employees in a variety of job classifications. |
